Poetry Competition

The Dunlavin Festival of Arts runs an annual poetry competition, which, along with the short story competition, forms the Adult Creative Writing section of the festival.  Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded (monetary value to be decided).

Entries must be original poetic works in the English language, and there is no length or age restriction.  There is an entrance fee of €5 (five euro), per three poems (i.e. one, two or three entries cost €5; four, five or six entries cost €10; etc.).  Cheques / Euro drafts should be made payable to the Dunlavin Arts Festival.

A separate sheet giving your name, address and contact phone number should accompany your entry.  Please send us copies of your poems as entries cannot be returned.
